Tugbiyele takes over as MD Steel Guardians

Steel Guardians Ltd, is proud to announce the appointment of Mr Segun Tugbiyele as its incoming Managing Director as of the 1st of March 2026. Mr Tugbiyele brings with him a wealth of experience in the Finance, Oil and Gas, as well as Real Estate sectors, a career which has spanned over 35 years, several of them in CMB Building, Maintenance and Investment Company Ltd. This veteran will bring his organisational and administrative expertise on board to take Steel Guardians to the next level at this inflexion point. 

The Group Managing Director of CMB, Mr Kelechukwu Mbagwu, has praised the outgoing Managing Director, Ms Mfon Udofia for her pioneering work, stabilising the company through the Covid and other difficult times. She was a solid and inspiring leader, ensuring the Company’s survival. The appointment of Mr Tugbiyele allows her the freedom to concentrate on her “first love”, Oyster Management Company and its phenomenal growth under her leadership.
